Fall Shelf Styling on a Budget (Free Downloads!)
One of the main reasons I installed shelves in my tiny New York studio was to create more space for decorations, especially seasonal decor. As someone who loves making decorations for each season, I was so excited to style these shelves for fall! Living in NYC can certainly get pricey, so I try to be mindful of spending. That's where DIY decor comes in handy—not only is it often more cost-effective, but it's a fun activity and way to personalize your space.
For my fall shelf styling, I wanted to keep it simple but cozy. I added some small pumpkins, dried flowers, ghost candles (that I had from a client photoshoot last year), and a few prints! I used Canva to design some prints that I printed out at CVS. The 4x6 prints were only $0.42, and the larger 8x10 print was $4.79—super affordable! I wanted an even smaller print for my small top shelf so printed two designs on the 4x6 and cut it in half!
