DIY Hanging Wall Eucalyptus

This hanging wall eucalyptus adds a beautiful earthy touch to your space and requires minimal supplies. Let's get started by gathering the 4 items you'll need to make this DIY!

Supplies:

  • 5 Eucalyptus sprigs (I used dried eucalyptus but you can also use fresh or artificial)

  • 1 Stick (I found mine on my beach!)

  • Twine

  • Scissors

Start by lining up the eucalyptus perpendicular to the stick in an alignment that you like. Here you can remove some leaves and cut down the stems to get the desired length.

Once you like how the eucalyptus is arranged, grab your twine and cut a piece about a few inches long. Use that piece of twine to tie a knot on the end of eucalyptus stem tightly and tie the other side of the twine to the stick loosely (we will tighten the knot that's on the stick later). Repeat this step for all the eucalyptus pieces you have arranged.

Once all the eucalyptus pieces are tied, make any adjustments to the spacing of the eucalyptus. Once you like how this looks, go back and tighten the twine on the stick to secure it in place.

Trim any excess pieces of twine as desired. Lastly, roll out a long piece of twine and play around with how you'd like the top hanging piece to look. I cut a piece longer than I wanted, tied a knot on one side of the stick, then played around with the length on the other side. Once I liked the spacing of the triangle twine part, I cut the twine and secured it with a knot on the other piece of the stick to complete this DIY. Hand this in your space and enjoy!
